A global, multi-brand designer, distributor, and retailer of fashion apparel.

Business Challenge

To streamline operations and facilitate rapid business expansion, our client required a unified apparel solution that spanned sourcing, production, wholesale, retail, and internal operations. The solution needed to offer scalability, accommodate the specific needs of the apparel industry, and integrate with the client’s existing e-commerce platform. For an enhanced in-store shopping experience, a mobile-friendly, ERP-integrated POS system was also required.


Visionet Systems implemented Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 for the client, including modules for Finance, Retail Back-Office, Operations, and Warehouse Order Fulfilment. Microsoft Dynamics AX is a highly scalable platform with extensive support for customization and integration. Visionet also deployed their proprietary EdgeAX framework, which provides an enhanced user experience for apparel retail within Dynamics AX. The entire solution was deployed on Microsoft Azure Cloud.

To provide a modern and efficient in-store shopping experience, Visionet deployed TabletPOS, a mobile-ready POS solution. This POS system was then integrated with Dynamics AX to provide real-time performance metrics on sales transactions and product inventory

The client’s existing digital commerce platform was also integrated with Dynamics AX using CommerceLink, Visionet’s e-commerce integration solution, which enabled the centralized management of product information, pricing, merchandising, and marketing.

Visionet also implemented several omni-channel business processes, including cross-channel order fulfilment and real-time analytics across all retail channels.
